Capital...

So i was asked to do a poster for a girl named Hope, who is a major huge positive influence for the well being of Flint Michigan, and shes like 13 or some things. So on her recent go around's she is helping a flint guy with his fan film (Emily Elm Street), so they took pictures of her and there Freddy Kruger, and they didn't quite know how to finish there ad, here is where i come in. They wanted a comic book style building in the back with all of the info needed... first step
Draw the building, now i colored it, then added the selected picture they took, put in all the info, so its all done. Problem is they haven't approved it, and they wont til after new years. So i cant post it until then.
So... Next week ill post up the rest of the process.

DFF Free art...

For this years Detroit Fan Fare i had quite a bit of art to finish in a matter of days, not weeks, and i can defiantly say this had been a great learning experience. I drew and colored a "Ballad of the Walker" promo hand out (i did not do the logo), and colored the rest of the promos that i didnt draw, like one for "The 7" pencils by Laurell Bryant and another for "Karma" pencils by Jovon Tucker...

Knight and Gale...

From a mini series iv been working on called "Knight and Gale" iv made a couple posts about it,

Starting with a poster

So Iv developed a Character name Samuel Knight who originally looked like this
I created a mini comic to test it all out...

I liked the overall idea of the story but it wasnt a full beginning, middle, end deal, and i wanted to try and develop it, so i got help from my friends Cassandra, and Eric, and we created 75% of a good rounded story
So i started to re-develop some characters...

After creating a vision for these characters i took a small piece of the story and fleshed it out, then i printed them out and went to a mini com to sell the copy's and see what audience it attracted...

Family....

A few years back i made up a super hero comic of my niece and nephews, now iv taken that concept and revamped it into a painted cover/pin-up poster. I no longer need it for school so i gave it to my older brother and his wife to put up on the wall.

Vampire love....

So with some couching from a very awesome teacher, Mark Schultz, this comic/illustration/pin-up is based on a concept involving a vampire. morning over a lost love, running from danger. This is my interpretation, i made it more vintage looking.

Angels....

So i have a close friend named "ERIC MEMS" who is in california, originally for school, and he has this Comic/animation/novel idea he is really committed to called "Apostlie". Well i asked him, is there any way i can help and he said i could do a small little story idea he thought up, for fun. He said i could be creative, but still use most of what he had, even though it had been changed a few times since then. So here is what i did, i used it for a project in school last yr, i really like it.

Red Riding Hood....

Once again im going through my archives and spotted a classic i did, i have improved greatly but i really like the cute factor.

Flash back....

I was watching the Harry Potter movies 1-7 p2 and i remembered that i drew a poster for the 6th movie (yes i read the books folks). I searched for the image and i finally found it, i still like the picture, but it would look alot different if i did it now though. May i will update a new one some time.

2012 so far...

Ok so iv been busy, graduating and what not. But today is the day i start posting up work from then and work currently in the works, Im going to start with a picture i did for a middle school poem anthology in Savannah, Ga. A girl made a poem about a marble so i drew her one to represent her poem.
